Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance firmware build automation and toolchains.
- Create CI workflows and automated testing solutions.
- Integrate code-quality, security, and static-analysis tools.
- Improve source-control, code-review, release, and development workflows.
- Develop firmware for next-generation actuator platforms.
- Assist with BSP, driver, and application software development.
- Debug firmware and support hardware bring-up activities.
- Participate in product validation and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and problem-solving.
- Experience or coursework in embedded systems development.
- Familiarity with C/C++ programming, software development processes, version control, and debugging tools.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and data sheets.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Git, Perforce, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Preferred familiarity with embedded debugging techniques, real-time operating systems, static-analysis and unit-testing frameworks, and secure software development practices.
- Personal, academic, or team-based embedded software project experience is preferred.
