Base Salary
$123k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of features across web and mobile platforms.
- Develop, improve, and apply testing strategies, techniques, test plans, and test suites.
- Use black box, gray box, and white box testing methods.
- Write automated tests and user-level test automation tools.
- Create and maintain AI-assisted tooling to complement QA capabilities.
- Collaborate with Software Development Engineers on product features and technical implementations.
- Work with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models.
- Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
- Create and maintain regression tests and drive quality-centric software development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software Quality Assurance Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience delivering test frameworks and tools and leading QA projects and initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of QA methodology and tools, including manual and automated testing.
- Experience with scripting or coding.
- Experience with at least one automated test framework such as Playwright, Cypress, TestCafe, Selenium, Appium, or WebdriverIO.
- Experience gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining product-quality metrics.
- Understanding of software internals and ability to debug problems using log files.
- Experience using AI tools to complete tasks.
