Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate highly scalable, low-latency distributed systems processing millions of events per second.
  • Build real-time fraud detection pipelines using Apache Flink for stream processing, aggregation, and anomaly detection.
  • Develop graph-based fraud intelligence solutions with AWS Neptune.
  • Write production-ready code for highly available services and own solutions from design through deployment, monitoring, and operations.
  • Integrate machine learning models into real-time decisioning systems in collaboration with applied scientists.
  • Collaborate in an agile engineering environment, solve complex fraud-prevention problems, mentor teammates, and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • Base salary range of $143,700.00 to $194,400.00 USD annually, excluding sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
