Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for native iOS and Android applications.
  • Implement multilingual German, French, Italian, and English interfaces using internationalization and localization practices.
  • Translate Figma designs into accessible, pixel-perfect mobile components in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, UI testing, and code reviews.
  • Optimize application performance across devices and screen sizes while meeting Swiss banking security standards.
  • Contribute to the shared component library and design system used across Raiffeisen digital products.
  • Collaborate in Scrum/Kanban processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Coordinate with backend teams to design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues to maintain application availability and user satisfaction.
  • Champion mobile frontend best practices and stay current with emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in native mobile development for Android and/or iOS.
  • Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and/or Swift.
  • Solid experience with Jetpack Compose and/or SwiftUI.
  • Experience with modern concurrency concepts including coroutines, Flow, async/await, and Combine.
  • Knowledge of clean architecture, MVVM, and MVI mobile architectures.
  • Experience connecting backend services and integrating APIs.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, UI testing, and quality assurance.
  • Experience with Gradle and/or Swift Package Manager for build tools and dependency management.
  • Understanding of mobile application security and performance.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and App Store and Play Store deployment.
  • German fluency at B2 level or above and business-proficient English.
  • French or Italian language skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in regulated industries or financial services, micro-frontend architectures, OWASP, certificate pinning, or biometric authentication is advantageous.
