Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant RKE2/Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS.
- Build, optimize, and maintain GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and ArgoCD pipelines for automated build, test, scanning, and deployment workflows.
- Author and manage Helm charts across multiple environments.
- Build hardened, STIG-compliant Docker images and integrate Docker builds with Harbor and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage RKE2 Kubernetes clusters, including scheduling, networking, RBAC, secrets management, troubleshooting, and lifecycle operations.
- Administer Harbor container registries and Nexus artifact repositories.
- Integrate Trivy and SonarQube into pipelines and remediate security findings.
- Monitor and optimize cloud and container performance, bottlenecks, and resource utilization.
- Write Python and Bash automation scripts for infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure, or DevSecOps experience in a cloud environment for mid-level qualification, or 6+ years for senior-level qualification.
- Advanced Python and/or Bash scripting proficiency.
- Strong Linux/Unix command-line proficiency, preferably with RHEL-based systems.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster operations, workload management, RBAC, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work effectively within a distributed team.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Terraform, RKE2 or other enterprise Kubernetes distributions, air-gapped or restricted environments, Harbor, Nexus, Trivy, SonarQube, Cilium, Packer, and Ansible.
- Preferred certifications include CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS DevOps Professional, or CompTIA Security+.
