Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features from user experience through backend code.
- Design, optimize, maintain, and troubleshoot databases, including cloud-based database solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to team and cross-team technical decisions.
- Lead coordination of cross-functional efforts to integrate system components.
- Provide solutions across immediate and multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement of development processes and product quality.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in database management.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in database management, including database design, optimization, and maintenance.
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions and scalable architectures.
- Ability to resolve complex database-related issues.
- Preferred experience with Java, web application development, and API management.
- Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance standards.
