Responsibilities
- Stay updated on emerging research and evaluate new quantization methods.
- Implement quantized training methods for self-driving models.
- Lead design and implementation of efficiency initiatives for model training.
- Champion tools to identify root causes of model quality regressions.
- Collaborate with research, infrastructure, and product teams to balance accuracy and resource constraints.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in ML infrastructure, distributed training, or ML systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience with quantization methods like AWQ, AQT, or FP-8 training.
- Experience building or maintaining quantization libraries.
- Understanding of calibration and scaling strategies for quantized models.
