Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction and roadmap for the platform’s streaming reasoning loop, function calling, context and memory management, sub-agent and remote-agent protocols, and GenUI response streaming.
- Own adoption of new model generations, inference APIs, prompting and tool-calling standards, reasoning and streaming capabilities, and migration plans for large request volumes.
- Advance discovery, loading, versioning, and governance for more than 300 skills and tools.
- Mentor platform engineers, establish design and code review standards, and increase organizational expertise in production agentic systems.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience testing and launching software products and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- At least 2 years of experience with state-of-the-art GenAI techniques or GenAI-related concepts.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience leading project teams, setting technical direction, and working in complex, matrixed, cross-functional or cross-business organizations.
