Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze customer requirements and help prepare detailed application feature specifications.
- Design and implement small application architectures, interfaces, and relational database structures based on senior or analyst guidance.
- Develop and maintain applications for business-process automation using Java, TypeScript, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Estimate development, testing, and bug-fixing work and communicate timelines, deliverables, progress, and delays.
- Test implemented functionality before deployment and apply basic security concepts according to company policy.
- Write and maintain technical and system documentation for testing and operational handover.
- Provide second- and third-level application support by fixing bugs and implementing relatively simple feature updates.
- Manage assigned partial project tasks, timelines, communication, and daily time recording for invoicing and controlling purposes.
Requirements
- Currently be a student specializing in programming.
- Have experience in application programming.
- Have knowledge of relevant technologies such as Docker, GitLab, REST-based web services or APIs, Java, SQL, JSON, Angular, or React.
- Preferred stack experience includes Java and Spring Boot; Angular, React, or VueJS; or Python and SQL.
- Additional knowledge of testing tools or frameworks, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, Git, cloud technologies, or databases is advantageous.
- Demonstrate communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Speak English at least at B2 level; German is an advantage.
