Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native PHP systems and Laravel-framework user interfaces and APIs.
- Optimize application performance through in-memory processing and caching with Redis.
- Participate in software design discussions and collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, QA, operations, development, and testing teams.
- Independently deliver software, drive projects to completion, and contribute to modernization efforts.
- Develop processes, procedures, training materials, integration documentation, and API change presentations for customers.
- Review peer code, uphold development standards, and mentor junior team members.
- Produce application builds, patches, and deployments after completing development tasks.
- Support product launches and provide technical and production support, including on-call and after-hours response for urgent customer issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing scalable, secure, high-performance applications using PHP, Laravel, and modern JavaScript technologies.
- Experience with React.js, Node.js, RESTful API development and integration, and relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle.
- At least 2 years of experience with relational databases.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into effective technical designs and communicate deliverables, analyses, and issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, creative problem-solving, prioritization, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with telecommunications or BSS/OSS systems.
- Ability to work extended hours during releases or critical customer-impacting issues, participate in on-call support, and travel up to 5%.

- Base pay range is $90,000–$120,000 USD, with potential eligibility for company stock and an annual bonus.
