Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end MLOps pipelines on Vertex AI for data ingestion, model training, evaluation, deployment, and retraining.
- Build and manage Vertex AI Pipelines using Kubeflow Pipelines.
- Deploy and manage models through Vertex AI Model Registry, Endpoints, and Batch Prediction services.
- Implement feature engineering workflows with Vertex AI Feature Store.
- Develop GCP integrations connecting Vertex AI with BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Provision and manage ML infrastructure with Terraform.
- Configure IAM policies, service account governance, and VPC Service Controls for Vertex AI workloads.
- Lead sprint planning, release management, environment promotion, and stakeholder communication.
- Establish model monitoring for data drift and skew detection using Vertex AI Model Monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists to containerize experiments and promote models across development, staging, and production.
- Drive adoption of GKE for custom model-serving infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of total professional experience.
- At least 4 years of GCP experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on Vertex AI experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience building Vertex AI Pipelines and managing model lifecycles in Vertex AI Model Registry.
- Strong Terraform skills for provisioning Vertex AI, GCS, BigQuery, and related infrastructure.
- Understanding of GCP IAM for securing ML pipelines and data access.
- Experience with GCP-native development patterns and event-driven architectures.
- Demonstrated cloud delivery experience across planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with Docker containerization and GKE for model serving.
