MetaResponsibilities
- Develop the MTIA software stack across AI frameworks, compiler infrastructure, high-performance deep learning kernels, runtimes, and tooling.
- Contribute to PyTorch, core compilers, and GenAI open-source frameworks supporting new AI training and inference accelerators.
- Analyze deep learning models and implement optimization algorithms to improve performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with AI research scientists to accelerate recommendation systems and generative AI models.
- Partner with hardware design teams on performance optimizations and next-generation hardware-software codesign.
Requirements
- Demonstrated C/C++ programming skills are required.
- Experience developing AI frameworks or accelerating deep learning models on hardware architectures is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
- Qualifying experience includes 7+ years with a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years with a master’s degree, or 3+ years with a PhD in a relevant technical field.
- Preferred experience includes PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, TensorRT, vLLM, or SGLang.
- Preferred compiler experience includes loop optimization, vectorization, parallelization, SIMD, MLIR, LLVM, IREE, XLA, TVM, or Halide.
- Preferred experience includes runtime analysis, latency and memory-bandwidth optimization, I/O and compute-utilization analysis, and performance tooling.
- Preferred experience includes CUDA, OpenMP, OpenCL, AI accelerator kernels, cuBLAS, cuDNN, CUTLASS, HIP, or ROCm.
- Knowledge of GPU, CPU, or AI accelerator architectures is preferred.
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development, workflow integration of AI tools, and responsible and ethical AI practices are preferred.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of CA$160,000 to CA$213,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
