Responsibilities
- Develop container management software and cloud platforms for client mission needs.
- Develop, manage, secure, and operate production Kubernetes and AWS environments.
- Support container orchestration, Kubernetes networking, container registry management, and image-hardening processes.
- Recommend resources and approaches for secure container adoption and cloud platform modernization.
- Inform platform strategy and system design while ensuring containerization standards are met.
- Create technical documentation, system diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Support classified and Intelligence Community mission environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering or systems engineering within classified environments.
- At least 5 years of experience with AWS, including IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB/ALB/NLB, and CloudWatch.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud environments, programming languages, and CI/CD support.
- Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters and knowledge of Kubernetes networking, container registries, and image hardening.
- Experience with Linux-based systems such as RedHat or CentOS and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- HS diploma or GED plus 9+ years of DevSecOps experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of DevSecOps experience.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS EKS, AI development tools, Intelligence Community mission support, cloud-native tooling, vulnerability analysis, and modernization frameworks.
