Base Salary
$129k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver well-documented, tested, and operable code.
- Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end and own the completion, quality, and maintainability of assigned projects.
- Use AI tools to brainstorm approaches, write and refine code, and produce clear documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teammates and cross-functional partners to build products, systems, and tools.
- Contribute to engineering work across backend, full stack, mobile, web, and security domains depending on team needs.
- Communicate ideas and perspectives while developing professionally through feedback and learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field expected by June 2027.
- At least one year of programming experience through internships, research, coursework, teaching, personal projects, open source, or hackathons.
- Availability to start full-time between January 2027 and September 2027.
- Familiarity with using AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool, with sound judgment regarding accuracy, security, and when to seek help.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++.
- Familiarity with relevant frameworks, tools, or technologies such as React or similar.
- Strong communication skills, product sense, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to continuously learn.
- Previous software engineering internship experience is strongly preferred.
