Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in efforts to modernize product technology stacks.
- Build, test, deploy, and support software applications across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Develop frontend applications and design, create, and consume microservices and RESTful web services.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools to support software solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, perform code pairing, and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Management and team members on product roadmaps and development priorities.
- Learn new skills and technologies to support existing and evolving products.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building frontend applications with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, and UI frameworks such as React.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing microservices and creating or consuming RESTful web services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- 3 years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS, plus infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- 2 years of experience designing and developing service-based architecture and/or microservices.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification is preferred.
- Experience with SpringBoot or similar Java frameworks and micro-frontends is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to develop deep technical skills are preferred.
