Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver application deployment capabilities for OCI’s developer platform.
- Build scalable, available, secure, and operable distributed systems, platform services, APIs, data models, and service architectures.
- Improve developer productivity and enable faster, safer software delivery across OCI teams and customers.
- Own work from problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
- Collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and contribute to cloud-scale platform reliability and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures with attention to scalability, availability, security, and operability.
- Understanding of cloud-native systems, including containers, orchestration, infrastructure automation, or release engineering concepts.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from definition through ongoing operation.
- Clear written and verbal communication and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Preferred experience includes application deployment platforms, continuous delivery, GitOps, artifact management, developer platform engineering, large-scale distributed systems, multi-tenant cloud services, control planes, workflow orchestration, site reliability engineering, incident response, observability, capacity and performance engineering, security engineering, identity and access management, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, compliance automation, AI-assisted developer tools, or agentic workflows.
