Responsibilities

Develop mission planner algorithms, including graph search and integration with behavioral planning.
Integrate and test developed applications in the robot, learning and making improvements.
Collaborate with team members to support integration of software components across Zoox.
Set short and long term technical direction for the team.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with other teams in Mission Planning, Behavioral Planning, and Cloud Services.

BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
Programming skills in C++.
Understanding and experience with various graph search techniques (A*, D*, Dijkstra, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to write code for a shipped product in commercial robotics, drones, consumer devices, or automotive.
Ability to work on multiple layers of the autonomous driving compute stack.
At least 8 years of industry experience.
