Responsibilities
- Bring up and configure embedded platforms across bare-metal, RTOS, Zephyr, and embedded Linux environments.
- Port operating systems and optimize DSP, audio, vision, and AI workloads for Arm architectures.
- Develop mathematical and signal-processing kernels including FFTs, filters, image processing, and ML preprocessing.
- Integrate sensors, memory subsystems, DMA, accelerators, and software into complete processing pipelines.
- Benchmark and profile CPU utilization, memory bandwidth, cache behavior, latency, and power consumption.
- Develop technical demonstrations and collaborate with processor architects, software teams, and silicon partners to resolve performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and low-level embedded programming.
- Understanding of processor architectures, memory hierarchies, caches, DMA, and interrupt handling.
- Familiarity with RTOS, Zephyr, or Linux for embedded development.
- Practical experience with performance profiling and code optimization.
- Familiarity with DSP algorithms, fixed-point arithmetic, and SIMD/vector processing.
- Experience with embedded development tools, compilers, debuggers, and hardware evaluation boards.
- Desired qualifications include Arm Cortex-M or Cortex-A experience, MVE, NEON, SVE2, assembly-level optimization, CMSIS-DSP, CMSIS-NN, Ethos-U NPU, TensorFlow Lite, ExecuTorch, Python scripting, FPGA prototypes, pre-silicon platforms, hardware-software co-design, and technical reporting or presentations.
