Sr. Software Engineer

- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native application services using C# and .NET.
- Build and maintain APIs and integrations.
- Contribute to Angular and TypeScript development as needed.
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Participate in architectural and technical design decisions involving performance, reliability, security, data, scalability, and user experience.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Diagnose and resolve complex application and production issues.
- Improve automated testing, continuous integration, deployment, observability, and software delivery practices.
- Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with the engineering team.
- Collaborate on planning, technical tradeoffs, and delivery of customer outcomes.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications with C# and .NET.
- Experience designing and building APIs and backend services.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Understanding of software design principles, automated testing, and secure development practices.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
- Must successfully pass a fingerprint-based background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.
- Preferred: experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, event-driven or distributed systems, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, cloud-native multi-tenant SaaS applications, monitoring, observability, and production support.
