Base Salary

$184k - $288k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement significant parts of the compiler.
  • Analyze performance and design and implement new compiler optimizations.
  • Collaborate with global compiler, GPU driver, architecture, and application teams on improvements and problem resolution.
  • Identify meaningful compilation problems for state-of-the-art GPU technologies.
  • Contribute to the LLVM and DXC open-source projects.
  • Propose and implement SPIR-V extensions and represent NVIDIA in Khronos.
  • Contribute to the future development of SPIR-V as a graphics interchange standard.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience; a PhD is strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience with a strong background in compilers.
  • Strong C and C++ programming skills and a deep understanding of parallel programming models.
  • Experience with compiler optimizations, especially LLVM infrastructure.
  • Preferred experience developing CUDA, DirectX, OpenGL, or Vulkan applications.
  • Preferred background in GPU compiler optimizations, GPU code generation, and compiler framework development.

  • Base salary range of 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD.
