Responsibilities
- Contribute to security assessments for existing and new products.
- Support the design and implementation of secure boot processes for embedded devices.
- Partner with hardware engineers to integrate HSM solutions into embedded systems.
- Help develop encryption, key management, and secure cryptographic operations.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, and product teams to integrate security across the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Completed or in-progress BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with graduation expected in December 2026.
- Coursework, internship, research, or project experience in cybersecurity, embedded systems, or a related area.
- Foundational understanding of cryptographic principles, protocols, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in embedded-systems programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Strong curiosity about cybersecurity and eagerness to develop expertise in secure boot, HSM integration, and BSP work.
- Exposure to FIPS 140-2 or Common Criteria through coursework or projects is a plus.
- Automotive embedded systems, ECUs, in-vehicle networks, AUTOSAR, automotive security standards, vehicle diagnostics, OTA updates, CTFs, security research, or embedded and IoT security experience is preferred.
