Responsibilities

  • Develop web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, and front-end frameworks.
  • Build responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces using frameworks such as Bootstrap, AngularJS, Ember, Backbone, and ReactJS.
  • Work with CSS preprocessors, RESTful APIs and services, UI and backend visualization frameworks, and versioning and source-control systems.
  • Contribute to IT strategy, architecture, implementation support, software development, integration, and maintenance projects.
  • Provide technical insight to client engagements and internal projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Supervise more junior team members in Greece and abroad.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and communicate with clients in Greek and English.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in web development and extensive knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile design, RESTful APIs and services, CSS preprocessors, and versioning and source-control systems.
  • Relevant experience implementing IT systems, including analysis, design, implementation, integration, and maintenance.
  • Working experience with at least one relational database management system, such as SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience developing applications with the .NET Framework, Java, or PHP is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client-service, technical-writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
