Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Python.
- Migrate existing Selenium automation scripts to the VIEW Playwright Test Automation Framework.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and maintain the existing automation suite.
- Perform manual functional, API, database, compatibility, accessibility, regression, UAT, system, and system integration testing.
- Analyze test requirements, document results, report defects, and deliver assigned test work to agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Design automation testing frameworks, apply object-oriented programming concepts, and create custom solutions for test automation challenges.
- Mentor other team members and work independently with minimal guidance after training.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Playwright and Python.
- Required experience with API testing.
- Mandatory experience with Azure or AWS.
- Experience with testing methodologies, Playwright, Python, TDD, system testing, functional testing, and system integration testing.
- Experience with regression, user acceptance, database, compatibility, and accessibility testing.
- Strong experience designing automation testing frameworks and writing automated Playwright tests.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and their application to test automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Ability to develop custom logic and algorithms for test automation challenges.
- Ability to use established tools and methods with minimal guidance and demonstrate initiative in solving testing problems.
- Track record of delivering commitments on time and to the required quality.
