Responsibilities
- Contribute to machine learning development activities for Trimble Applanix APX/AP+ firmware.
- Debug real-time navigation systems, analyze data, and implement algorithms.
- Develop software using Git and Jira within the engineering team.
- Collect, structure, and organize datasets for continuous navigation model improvements.
- Produce technical documentation supporting system-level integration and ongoing development.
- Collaborate on hardware/software integration and multi-component engineering activities.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a master’s or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Have demonstrated experience with Google Tensor Python development.
- Have practical experience deploying TinyML libraries in MCU environments.
- Have strong expertise in Kalman filtering and machine learning techniques.
- Have fluent C/C++ software development skills in real-time and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of system-level integration and multi-component hardware/software development is preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication, multitasking, and technical documentation skills are preferred.
