Base Salary

$79k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and UI/UX testing.
  • Review user stories and requirements to identify testable acceptance criteria.
  • Document defects, track resolution progress, and validate implemented fixes.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and engineers in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
  • Use Selenium, Postman, and JIRA for testing and defect-management activities.
  • Support automated test integration into CI/CD processes.
  • Validate applications for security, compliance, and accessibility, including STIG and Section 508/WCAG requirements.
  • Produce test documentation, reports, and quality metrics for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and user experience.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • Experience testing web applications in Agile or DevSecOps environments is required.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web architecture fundamentals is required.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is required.
  • Understanding of API testing using Postman, Swagger, or RESTful services is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, documentation, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, JMeter, LoadRunner, AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Section 508/WCAG accessibility testing and an ISTQB or similar testing certification are preferred.
