Base Salary

$195k - $315k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the neuromorphic runtime stack from firmware through framework integration.
  • Architect and develop runtime and performance tooling and define execution behavior for firmware and drivers in host-attached and standalone configurations.
  • Own runtime/compiler contracts and integration with industry-standard AI and robotics frameworks.
  • Own performance, real-time behavior, and production quality across silicon and simulators.
  • Collaborate with compiler, hardware, application, customer, and partner teams to translate workloads into runtime capabilities.
  • Establish engineering practices, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years developing and shipping AI runtime software for accelerators, GPUs, or complex hardware, with knowledge of drivers and firmware.
  • At least 5 years leading architecture for complex software systems and defining interfaces with adjacent components.
  • At least 5 years owning accelerator software performance and production quality, including profiling, benchmarking, and hardware/software debugging.
  • At least 5 years providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and leading cross-functional delivery.
  • At least 10 years developing production-grade systems software in C/C++, with Python proficiency.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on agentic software engineering using AI agents to design, implement, test, and review production code.
  • Preferred qualifications include engineering management experience, OpenVINO or oneAPI Level Zero experience, spatial or dataflow accelerator experience, robotics or real-time systems experience, simulator integration, embedded Linux or RTOS driver and firmware experience, and hardware/software co-design or performance modeling experience.
