Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, validate, and observe agentic AI solutions in enterprise customer production environments.
- Develop AI agents and experiences using prompts, reasoning, tool calls, integrations, and current LLM techniques.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Model data, validate pipeline outputs, and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Own technical components end to end and contribute to proofs of concept and MVPs that can be deployed rapidly.
- Co-build solutions with customers and partners, provide enablement, and share implementation best practices.
- Identify platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights for senior engineers and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
- Travel approximately 25% to work directly with customers.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience for senior-level roles, including experience with at least one production system.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customer architects.
- Experience shipping quality code and evaluating AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Willingness to experiment with emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks.
- Salesforce platform experience or Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Agentforce Specialist certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, orchestration patterns, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments is preferred.
