Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated identity lifecycle processes for provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning.
  • Integrate IAM solutions with HR systems, directories, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Develop custom identity integrations, SCIM 2.0 provisioning bridges, connectors, middleware, APIs, and automation services.
  • Enable identity lifecycle management for applications that do not natively support modern identity standards or are based on legacy architectures.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance SailPoint ISC, including custom rules, workflows, connectors, and extensions.
  • Monitor IAM platform performance, troubleshoot integrations, and resolve system issues.
  • Support identity governance risk assessments, policies, standards, architectural guidelines, and identity-related incident response.
  • Promote identity-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and continuous improvement across IAM engineering initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IAM engineering or application integration engineering.
  • Strong software engineering background with experience building production-grade integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ, SailPoint ISC, or a similar IAM platform.
  • Proven experience developing SCIM 2.0 integrations and custom provisioning connectors.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, and modern authentication protocols.
  • Experience integrating identity solutions with cloud and on-premises enterprise applications and enabling identity integration for legacy applications.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using tools such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, and directory services including AD and Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOX, and GDPR.
  • Preferred experience contributing to application codebases, building middleware or identity proxy services, and using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native integration patterns.
  • Preferred exposure to DevSecOps and financial services industry experience.
  • CISSP, CISM, CIAM, SailPoint Certified Implementation Engineer, or other equivalent IAM or security certifications are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
