Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, automate, and operate infrastructure supporting Nasdaq solutions.
- Streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes by facilitating collaboration between software development and IT operations teams.
- Automate processes and manage infrastructure through code.
- Establish and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Use cloud services, automation tools, software development practices, and system administration techniques to operate reliable IT environments.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues in Mumbai and Nasdaq teams in other countries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while delivering high-quality solutions to external clients.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
- Experience with AWS and expertise in Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities, including Bash scripting.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: SaaS experience; understanding of data lakes and data warehousing; familiarity with big data tools and technologies; and knowledge of SQL, Kotlin, RESTful APIs, and Spring.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, adaptability, creativity, and attention-to-detail skills, plus an interest in financial markets and a willingness to learn new technologies.
