Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, ship, and operate production agents on NEO from prototype through production.
- Build production-grade Graph RAG retrieval with knowledge-graph traversal, vector search, chunking, ranking, and grounding strategies.
- Design episodic and semantic agent memory with recall, summarization, and decay policies.
- Manage entitlement-, lineage-, and tenant-aware organizational context for agent reasoning.
- Compose multi-agent workflows using A2A and integrate tools and data through MCP servers, including Bitbucket, Confluence, Databricks, Kubernetes, Snowflake, and Splunk.
- Build task-level and end-to-end evaluations, regression suites, LLM-as-judge workflows, and quality and safety gates.
- Deploy and operate solutions on AWS and/or Azure using strong SDLC, security, resiliency, and observability practices.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders across Commercial and Investment Banking and Payments to deliver supported agents.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectures and technical applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience, including at least 4 years working on AI/ML solutions.
- Strong Python programming skills and advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, and statistics.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and production LLM-powered or agentic applications.
- Deep proficiency with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, micro-VM isolation such as Firecracker, Kata Containers, and gVisor, and sidecar architectures.
- Experience designing defense in depth across networking and mTLS, workload identity, fine-grained authorization, runtime isolation, and application-level guardrails.
- Practical RAG experience with retrieval quality, embeddings, and vector stores, plus expert knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data management and data model design, including real-time processing with SQL and NoSQL stores such as Postgres, OpenSearch, and Redis.
- Preferred: MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with agent frameworks or runtimes, A2A, MCP, agent memory, organizational context management, knowledge graphs, and Graph RAG.
- Preferred: knowledge of LLM fine-tuning, small language model inference, modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, financial or payments technology, and Go or Rust.
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with senior technical and business stakeholders.
