Base Salary
$183k - $284k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade AI agents with LangGraph to automate multi-step workflows.
- Deploy, operate, and scale agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore while managing runtime, memory, identity, gateway capabilities, security, reliability, and operating cost.
- Partner with internal teams to identify high-impact workflows, gather requirements, and explain agent capabilities and limitations.
- Integrate agents with internal systems, APIs, and third-party tools so they can take real actions.
- Build evaluation, observability, and guardrail frameworks to measure quality, detect failures, and keep humans involved when appropriate.
- Establish reusable patterns, shared tools, and best practices for agent development.
- Own agents from prototype through production, measuring impact and iterating based on usage data and feedback.
- Drive adoption through documentation, training, and enablement.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend development experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java.
- Track record of delivering systems designed for security, scalability, availability, and performance.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered agents or workflows, including prompting, tool use, and structured outputs.
- Production experience with an agent or LLM framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
- Understanding of AI architectures including RAG, reranking, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Ability to reason about data access, permissions, and failure modes when building systems that take real actions.
- Strong product sense and communication skills for working directly with non-technical teams.
- Ability to independently take ambiguous problems from idea to production.
- Preferred experience running AWS workloads in production, including designing for and deploying on Amazon services and ideally Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
