Responsibilities
- Own the full pre-sales migration cycle for Australia.
- Act as the primary technical advisor to customers evaluating Snowflake migration.
- Partner with APJ sales executives on migration opportunity development.
- Apply AI-first tooling to accelerate migration assessments and proposals.
- Scope ETL and data migration complexity across various legacy tools.
- Collaborate with Practice Directors to develop proposals and migration plans.
- Deliver customer migrations to the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
- Contribute to the APJ Migrations team by sharing insights and best practices.
- Build trust through workshops, architecture reviews, and demonstrations.
- Create repeatable assets to scale the team's capacity.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a solutions architect or data engineering role.
- Demonstrated pre-sales or solution engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL transformation, and cloud data warehousing.
- Familiarity with legacy ETL tools such as Informatica and IBM Datastage.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong customer-facing presence and ability to influence stakeholders.
- AI-first mindset with experience in automation or code generation tooling.
- Strong understanding of the complete data analytics stack.
- Impeccable communication skills across diverse audiences.
