Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy resilient, scalable full-stack applications.
- Build responsive and accessible web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, and state-management libraries.
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and Java/Spring Boot microservices.
- Design data models, write optimized queries, and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate code into CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker, and support deployment on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, and perform testing and debugging.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; resolve issues and recommend programming solutions.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Experience with Angular v14+, TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, NgRx, and RxJS.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear written and verbal communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and changing requirements.
