Base Salary
$111k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write server-side code and create high-volume production applications.
- Develop prototypes quickly.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to create intuitive customer-focused experiences.
- Ensure the reliability of systems used by Squarespace customers and businesses.
- Contribute to systems that enable merchants to securely and reliably collect payments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of development experience in Java, Python, Go, or another object-oriented language.
- Experience developing large-scale software.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design practices.
- Commitment to readable code and understanding of database schema design, caching, and scalability.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
