Responsibilities
- Administer and support all SmartPlant Foundation and SDx modules.
- Create and manage forms, reports, users, access groups, owning groups, roles, documents, transmittals, workflows, vaults, and WebClient configurations.
- Manage SmartPlant Foundation and SDx schemas, including hierarchies, class definitions, interface definitions, property definitions, relationship definitions, view definitions, edge definitions, and graph definitions.
- Install, configure, upgrade, back up, restore, and troubleshoot SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant Markup, SDV, SmartPlant License Manager or Intergraph Smart Licensing, and SmartPlant Interop Publisher.
- Integrate SmartPlant tools with SmartPlant Foundation, map properties, manage authoring domains, and support custom domains.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the SDx database, including database maintenance, data validation, table-structure analysis, and integration issues.
- Develop or support APIs integrating SmartPlant Foundation or SDx with third-party tools such as Power BI.
- Collaborate with SmartPlant administrators, database administrators, client teams, and the application vendor to deliver customizations and resolve critical issues involving publishing, retrieval, mapping, schema validation, and performance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of overall professional experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with Hexagon Intergraph SmartPlant is required.
- The technical requirements specify 7–8 years of SmartPlant Foundation experience across administration, configuration, schema management, integrations, database support, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with SPO/SDx administration, SmartPlant modules, document management, transmittals, workflows, vault management, authoring domains, APIs, and database-level troubleshooting is required.
- Experience with SQL Developer or SSMS for investigating SmartPlant Foundation or SDx database issues is required.
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage application configurations and customizations is required.
