Responsibilities
- Build and expand the internal agentic platform from design through production.
- Integrate internal systems and SaaS tools, including their APIs, data models, and access permissions.
- Build AI agents, MCP servers, agent tools, retrieval workflows, and supporting context.
- Own AI quality through evaluation sets, benchmarks, tracing, observability, cost tracking, and issue resolution.
- Turn proofs of concept into secure, cloud-based internal production tools.
- Contribute to company-wide AI tooling standards, usage tracking, internal-app practices, and enablement for other teams.
- Engage platform users across the company and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping production software, primarily with Python and relational databases.
- Experience building and shipping at least one real-user agent with LangGraph, including tool calling, retrieval, embeddings, prompt design, and context design.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs from major providers and cost and token optimization.
- Hands-on experience with MCP or similar tool protocols as both a server and client.
- Experience evaluating AI systems with test sets, LLM-as-judge, regression testing, tracing, and observability using Langfuse or similar tools.
- Experience integrating SaaS APIs, SQL, and data warehouses.
- Experience with Google Cloud and/or AWS infrastructure, containers, managed databases, identity and access, and deployment workflows.
- Daily experience using AI coding agents and maintaining quality through specifications, tests, and reviews.
- Understanding of security, identity, permissions, and least-privilege access.
- Comfort with GitHub or Bitbucket and excellent written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with web data or web scraping, Django, Postgres, pgvector, React, Next.js, semantic layers, knowledge graphs, agent memory, multi-agent systems, internal tools, or remote distributed teams is desirable.
