Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug web applications using Java technologies, frameworks, and libraries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop scalable, efficient, maintainable, and testable software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and follow coding standards and software development best practices.
- Integrate front-end user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Stay current with Java development trends and technologies and apply relevant improvements.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, and Angular.
- Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL.
- Knowledge of web services and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, Java or related technology certification, AWS or Azure experience, Docker or Kubernetes experience, DevOps knowledge, test-driven development and automated testing experience, and familiarity with front-end design and UX concepts.
