Responsibilities
- Develop solutions across database, data, service, application, and user-interface layers.
- Design and deliver reliable, scalable, high-quality technical solutions using an Agile development process.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to review, elaborate, and document requirements.
- Participate in peer code reviews and review test objectives and test cases.
- Provide second- and third-level client support with Application Specialists and Customer Support.
- Support professional growth through coaching and educational opportunities.
- Evaluate technologies and development tools and contribute to technology-related business decisions.
- Help DevOps improve product environments and automated build and deployment processes.
- Evaluate product health through monitoring and load testing and review penetration-testing reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of technical software development experience, including at least two years of .NET development experience.
- Experience with C#, n-tier design, SQL Server, Web Services, and microservices design.
- Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, programming methodologies, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and using code-management and build tools.
- Experience with continuous-integration tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or VSTS.
- Experience with environment deployment and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Ansible.
- Experience with dependency-injection frameworks such as Spring.NET or Unity and application/UI frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Graylog, ELK, or Datadog.
- Database design and implementation expertise and experience supporting highly available solutions.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and technical learning skills.
- Experience with Azure or AWS is preferred.
