Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate enterprise-scale custom software using Java and related technologies.
- Provision services and write software, automation tools, and scripts in a DevOps-oriented delivery model.
- Design and deliver reliable, performant, and operationally sound services.
- Apply software engineering practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Contribute to microservice-based architectures using domain-driven design, CQRS, and event sourcing where applicable.
Requirements
- Experience with Java and the Spring framework or an equivalent technology.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and when to apply them.
- Excellent knowledge of software development processes.
- Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Commitment to quality code, test-driven development, and high software quality standards.
- Knowledge or certification in the Spring framework is beneficial.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
- Continuous UK residence for the last 10 years is required for DV clearance, subject to additional eligibility criteria.
