Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy agentic workflows for multi-step reasoning, tool use, and production decision-making.
- Productionize research AI models into scalable, deployable systems for real-world applications.
- Develop adaptive ML systems using LoRA, PEFT, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Apply quantization, pruning, distillation, and hardware-specific acceleration techniques.
- Build and maintain RAG pipelines with vector database integration.
- Work with multimodal AI across computer vision, audio, and natural language.
- Optimize model execution for distributed and resource-constrained environments with variable connectivity.
Requirements
- Active US security clearance.
- At least four years of experience in applied AI, ML engineering, or production AI systems.
- Deep proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience deploying AI models across cloud, edge, and mobile hardware environments.
- Expertise in quantization, pruning, and distillation.
- Experience building RAG pipelines and integrating vector databases such as Quadrant, ChromaDB, FAISS, Milvus, or Pinecone.
- Familiarity with multimodal models and synthetic data generation.
- Strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills in distributed or constrained compute environments.
- Preferred experience with edge AI, federated learning, offline inference, public-sector AI governance and compliance, distributed systems, microservice architectures, GPU computing, CUDA, and performance profiling.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
