Base Salary

$254k - $336k/yr

Responsibilities

Own customer success through the design and delivery of a multi-year software roadmap.
Leverage internal teams to rapidly deliver capabilities beyond current platforms.
Collaborate with external teams on interfacing requirements.
Lead teams in architecting and implementing navigation and situational awareness systems.
Drive development of sensor suites, perception algorithms, and test fixtures.
Perform high-impact work in architecture and implementation across the perception and planning stack.
Utilize advanced techniques in computer vision and machine learning.
Conduct testing and validation of algorithms through simulation and real-world data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective system integration.
Travel to co-locate with end-users and other teams up to 20% of the time.

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in C++ and/or Python software development.
Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware and sensors such as radar, sonar, LIDAR, and cameras.
Demonstrated knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, or machine learning.
Experience in a senior perception or planning role for robotic systems.
Ability to act as the technical owner for a system, including stakeholder engagement and roadmap management.
Capacity to define and implement validation and verification strategies for perception and planning modules.
Ability to mentor junior team members and build team cohesion.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
