Responsibilities
- Support vulnerability identification, tracking, validation, and remediation activities across IT and infrastructure environments.
- Investigate false positives and review technical evidence for vulnerability findings.
- Maintain dashboards and reports in the Remediation Management platform for executive and operational visibility.
- Track remediation against severity-based SLAs and follow up with stakeholders on outstanding findings.
- Monitor vendor disclosures and emerging high-risk vulnerabilities and document findings and applicability assessments.
- Support asset ownership validation, data quality, and reconciliation across technology scanning toolsets.
- Assist with basic automation and scripting tasks such as report generation and data pulls.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-ones and contribute to internal documentation and knowledge bases.
Requirements
- Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- Must have a current GPA of at least 3.0.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship.
- Must be able to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities.
- Understanding of Python or Golang and fundamental networking and security concepts is preferred.
