Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal tools that improve troubleshooting efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Improve debugging capabilities and supportability features in the product and related tools.
- Resolve complex technical escalations and collaborate with engineering teams on root-cause fixes and reliability improvements.
- Analyze escalation trends and provide insights for product improvements, feature enhancements, and issue prevention.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 support teams.
- Stay current with technologies across networking, storage, virtualization, microservices, and cloud platforms.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Tier-4 escalation/support role or 3 years of development experience with enterprise-grade software products.
- Strong programming experience in .NET, Java, or C++, with willingness to learn .NET where applicable.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, cloud environments, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with networking, storage systems, virtualization, and monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work under pressure and manage critical escalations.
