Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Puppet.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for system health and reliability.
- Support architecture design, technical decision-making, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous optimization.
- Apply DevOps practices for version control, automation, security, and cloud governance.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams on cloud-native and hybrid workloads.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior DevOps or Azure DevOps Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
- Expertise with Terraform; experience with Puppet or a similar tool.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Good Linux and/or Windows system administration knowledge.
- Strong scripting skills with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with Git and understanding of security, networking, and cloud governance concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Bachelor degree.
- Fluent English and French; German or Swiss German is mandatory for candidates applying to the Bern office.
- Azure certifications and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, configuration management, secret management, regulated environments, enterprise-scale systems, or SRE practices are advantageous.
