Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design the overall architecture and core frameworks for CAT private protocols on DCU platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain protocol communication architectures, interface specifications, message definitions, and software frameworks.
- Lead development and lifecycle management of core protocol modules with focus on reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Integrate and debug protocol functionality, diagnose issues, optimize performance, and provide technical support.
- Drive protocol platformization, define technical roadmaps, and support product evolution and cross-platform migration.
- Support functional safety, cybersecurity, and software quality processes.
- Resolve complex technical challenges and provide technical guidance and architecture support to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electronic engineering, automation, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of embedded software development experience, including large-scale software project development and delivery.
- Experience designing communication protocol architectures and software frameworks; experience building protocol frameworks from the ground up is preferred.
- Expertise in C and C++ development and experience developing software on Linux platforms.
- Knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, and related protocol stacks.
- Experience with software architecture methods, API design principles, multithreaded programming, and system performance optimization.
- Strong problem-analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive complex technical issues to resolution.
- Strong communication, coordination, and technical leadership skills for cross-functional technical collaboration.
- Experience with vehicle electronics, construction machinery, industrial control, DCU, or VCU product development is preferred.
- Good written and reading English skills for technical documentation; spoken English communication skills are preferred.
- Experience designing or maintaining CAT private protocols such as EDDT, MAP, BDT, or PGB is a plus.
- Experience with protocol platformization, software framework refactoring, or cross-platform migration projects is a plus.
