Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain a BDD automation framework.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, estimates, regression tests, automation, and related project artifacts.
- Act as a quality gate by identifying, documenting, and tracking defects before software delivery.
- Implement and execute API-based automation for functional and non-functional testing.
- Develop testing processes for new and existing products.
- Investigate issues with business stakeholders and Production Support to prevent production defects.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Optimize QA operations to create an efficient and scalable function.
Requirements
- Proven industry experience in automation testing with strong hands-on Java experience.
- Solid experience with BDD automation frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
- Experience with TypeScript, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong hands-on experience in API automation and testing.
- Prior experience using SQL for database validation and testing.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD processes, Jenkins, and Git.
- Strong logical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to the finance industry or financial applications is preferred.
