Responsibilities
- Work directly with the co-founders.
- Build new user experiences and product features that are critical to customers.
- Own central, complex components of the application.
- Implement a scalable, stable, and user-friendly product that can support current growth.
- Collaborate with software engineers across the design, development, and maintenance stages.
- Drive and deliver the product roadmap by turning rough specifications into features.
- Find elegant solutions to usability problems.
- Ship new features weekly and work with product, design, customer success, support, and sales functions.
Requirements
- Experience designing and maintaining complex, large, or growing systems.
- Ability to identify edge cases, failure modes, bottlenecks, migrations, releases, and relevant metrics when reviewing systems or code.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to identify the root causes of production issues.
- Proactive approach to fixing problems and suggesting improvements.
- Commitment to software engineering best practices and testing delivered software.
- Experience with Amplemarket’s stack is not required.
