Responsibilities
- Train and develop highly optimized audio ML models for deployment on resource-constrained embedded platforms.
- Apply post-training quantization, quantization-aware training, mixed-precision inference, and pruning for efficient on-device inference.
- Optimize algorithm performance in real-world conditions and deliver seamless customer audio experiences.
- Develop production-ready deep learning audio signal processing approaches for speech enhancement, noise suppression, acoustic echo cancellation, and beamforming.
- Design and execute subjective and objective audio quality evaluations using industry-standard audio measurement metrics.
- Identify and resolve audio artifacts within ML audio chains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams and provide technical leadership through documentation, communication, and execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working hands-on with audio ML training in audio signal processing product teams.
- Deep understanding of on-device quantization, including post-training quantization, training-aware quantization, and mixed-precision inference.
- Strong programming skills in C and Python.
- Experience with production-ready deep learning audio signal processing for speech enhancement, noise suppression, acoustic echo cancellation, and beamforming.
- Proven experience designing and executing subjective and objective audio quality evaluation protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve audio artifacts in ML audio chains.
- Excellent communication, documentation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and lead technically both independently and as a contributing team member.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science with practical experience.
