Responsibilities
- Research, develop, design, build, and maintain automated systems and applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Program, configure, integrate, and improve automation technologies and applications.
- Lead or support test automation planning, scheduling, execution, and resource definition.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts based on business requirements.
- Develop resilient continuous integration and delivery automation pipelines.
- Provide technical direction, support, and training to junior engineers.
- Audit lab processes, prepare automation reports, document processes, and optimize performance against contracted KPIs.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, participate in design and code reviews, and support internal and external clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a similar field.
- Seasoned proficiency maintaining automation systems or applications and a seasoned understanding of programming and software development.
- Seasoned experience with robotics, AI, and machine learning.
- Seasoned project management experience.
- Seasoned knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Seasoned understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, or C# is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, creative-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
