Responsibilities
- Automate testing for web and Windows-based applications.
- Build and use automation frameworks and perform in-sprint automation.
- Identify and review test cases and results, and transform requirements into test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and create virtual machines and test-suite runner configurations.
- Prepare test strategies, test plans, requirement traceability matrices, and test reports.
- Perform and support sanity, functional, integration, exploratory, system, performance, security, and mobile testing.
- Test web services and APIs, analyze risks, and manage defects and test records.
- Collaborate with global teams in an Agile environment and communicate project findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in QA automation and testing.
- Expertise in automation testing for web and Windows-based applications.
- Experience building automation frameworks with Java or C# and using Selenium, SpecFlow, BDD, Protractor, or WebDriverIO.
- Hands-on programming experience with C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with Git or another version-control tool and experience automating CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, REST, and web-service testing tools including Postman, REST Assured, JSON Lint, and SoapUI.
- Experience with defect-tracking and test-management tools such as Jira, TFS/MTM, Bugzilla, and ALM.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of LIMS, performance testing, security testing, or mobile automation is desirable.
